Introducing our 5 month/ 20 week off-season training program that includes a throwing program, hitting plan, defensive training AND a speed/agility program. This plan includes 3 days of at home workouts as well as a 2 hour training session per week at the academy on Tuesdays 4:45-6:45. The baseball off-season is hard for our multi-sport athletes, but it is important to keep working on your skills. This program is limited to 10 players only.
Our hitting clinics cover a variety of components to develop any type of hitter. Drills will be tailored to building a strong foundation for the swing, and the players will be able to take what they learn to apply it in practices and games. It is held in a group setting to encourage hitters to learn, develop, and grow together, not only as players, but as friends.
Our Rookie Clinics offer young hitters (ages 8 and under) a fun atmosphere tailored to developing their swing. We have a variety of drills and simulated game situations to encourage learning while promoting their love for the game.
Not getting enough swings at practice? This is the class for you! Reps is all about getting a bunch of swings in against fastballs and curveballs. There will also be a tee cage to work on developing a personal practice/pregame routine that is right for the individual. Our knowledgeable staff will assist in all aspects of this class.
Most practices do not give position players adequate repetition to develop premium defensive skills, however this class is designed to do just that! Our favorite saying around here is, "Don't work until you get it right, work until you can't get it wrong".
Bill brings over 28 years of coaching experience and hitting instruction, not to mention parenting 3 baseball boys. He offers hitters a descriptive evaluation, corrective drills and advice to help them make adjustments to develop their swing to DO DAMAGE.
Jacob brings the 'players perspective' to hitting instruction . Playing 7 years at the Pro level, he offers the hitter an arsenal of knowledge and personal experience. Through drills, and evaluation, he is able to to help the hitter develop their swing to DO DAMAGE.
This class focuses on making the hitter's bat speed reach its full potential. We use metrics such as hand speed, barrel speed, exit velocity, etc... to focus on where improvements are needed. Along with seeing and feeling increased speed, hitters will receive a pre and post-evaluation showing improvements in all areas that include bat speed.
Players that do not use their lower half will often see weaker contact and lack of power. This course is a very high energy and will focus on improving the fast twitch muscles in the lower half. We will track improvements during the course through data using exercises such broad jump, vertical jump, medicine ball throws, and exit velocity.
Not making solid contact? Rolling over? Popping up too much? This course is designed to address these issues. We will look to match the pitch plane to give the hitter the best chance to make solid contact and hit line drives. We use multiple drills to help create muscle memory for what a swing should feel like.
This course targets hitters that 'swing and miss', fall off balance, and/or are very inconsistent with contact. Since timing is one of the of the most important but forgotten tools in hitting, this class will teach hitters why they lose balance and are not on time with their swing. While we will track improvements, hitters will see increased contact and barrel consistency in their swing.
